"A Feather in Our Cap"

Recently the Times-Gazette asked for nominations from the Ashland community clubs, organizations, churches and groups to be selected and featured in a special Progress Edition of the T-G. Lion Clinton J. Haught sent a letter to the T-G saying why our Club is special to the Ashland community and nominating our Club to be included in the Progress Edition.

The T-G called Lion Clinton on February 19 and said our Club has been selected to be included. The T-G will interview Lion Clinton and Zone 7 Chairman Lion Ann Miller for additional information for the upcoming Progress Edition

District 13-B Lions Convention
The District 13-B Lions convention will be March 23-25 at the Westlake Holiday Inn. We need a large attendance from our Club to show our support for the next District 13-B Governor--1st Vice District Governor Lion Forrest "Woody" Conrad, Jr.

There will be many favorite activities for all at the convention. There will be the euchre tournament with an expanded cornhole tournament. The redesigned hospitality rooms will feature typical appetizers, and desserts, ICE CREAM , live entertainment, fresh popped popcorn, games, and room to gather with fellow Lions.

Each club is asked to bring an item for the silent auction to help raise money to support Lions club foundations and projects.

"Thinking of you" cards were mailed to Emma Jeffries and Pat Long.

A "Get Well" card was mailed to Lion Carolyn Purdy.

A "Sympathy" card was mailed, and flowers were ordered upon the passing of Lion Dick Kerr.

A "Sympathy" card was mailed to Sallie of Celebrations....By Sallie! for the loss of her brother Jack Fitzgerald.

Lion Pat would like all Lions in the club to call her if they know about any members that are sick so that a card can be sent to them. Call her at 419-289- 8097
